CX4 Non restricted opinions?

I have one in .40 S&W. Call it my laser. My Buddy has one in 9mm. I fell in love with his so much I had to buy one. Then 2 years ago I was at Wholesale sports and they had them on for $800. Mine is restricted but I think I will be getting it re barreled soon.
This is by far one of my Favorite guns. Well worth every penny.

Love mine, never had an issues and am impressed with the accuracy. If you're going 9mm it's nice that you can use the 96 .40 cal mags and have 14 rounds.

really cool carbine. Factory trigger sucks quite a bit, but once you have that sorted out, its excellent.

Its not super accurate. Softball size at 50m, but that's being honest with just basic ammo and a red dot.

Reliable and takes Beretta mags.

Really like mine. The trigger isn't the best but oh well.

The "Uzi" type design makes it a very compact non restricted rifle. I think if someone wanted a legitimate home defense firearm in Canada it would be hard to beat. Ten round box magazine, easy to use controls, easy to add optics too, and not that loud.

What kind of groups are you getting? You seem.to be going for accuracy so yours would probably be as good as any of them get for that.

Softball? I would get your eyes checked. Mine does 1" or under at 50m.

With good quality ammo (Geco), I've been getting 3MOA groups of 10 rounds at 50m and 100m. My personal challenge is to find a powder/bullet combo that could bring this down to a consistent 2MOA, but it's really hard to accomplish (for me at least) with a bullet that has the ballistic coefficient of a brick thrown sideways and flies only at about 1100-1300 fps. :)

I bought a restricted 9 MM at Wholesale as well for $800 which is a good price as I see the unrestricted ones are creeping up on $1300.00 now. I have contemplated getting a non restricted 18.5" barrel as well. I wonder if you ordered a genuine Beretta barrel if it is an easy swap or is gun smithing required? Will have to do some research on this.
With my red dot and the 2X magnifier on it from a good rest with cast hand loads, ragged hole groups at 25 yards and 2 to 3 MOA at 50 yards. May swap on a scope and see what it will really do. The 12" steel plate at 100 yards is certainly no problem, even off hand.

funny, I can shoot half MOA or better with my CZ452V, and ring steel gongs all day long at 200m with my K31. Hell I can hit 8" steel standing off hand at 200m with my AR15. My eyes aren't what they were, but they are still more than up to it.

I suspect its an ammo thing. I have only tried one type of ammo, and no hand loads yet.

I quite like mine, it honestly eats everything! I had some lead cast handloads that my pistol didn't like... they fed through the CX4 with no issues whatsoever.

I would like to see more use of aluminum and steel in its construction, especially for the cost od these things! I installed the Sierra Papa stuff immediately after getting it. It does make me feel better, and is a better trigger.

I saw a Kriss Vector in 9mm go for $1500 less than a month ago! I would have loved to have had thr cash for it. Although the barrel on the Vector is hideous and looks like it would be terribly balanced. The CX4 is definitely a perfect fit to the human body.

Just fot a Strikefire 2 for it :) ... and a 92FS with 3 mags to accompany it.

Thx. I'm on their mailing list should supply show up.

Yeah and when you get that now in stock Email you have to get that credit card out immediately. I missed 2 in stock notices in a row. Both times less than a half day lapsed. I just got the last one from SFRC and really lucked out with SierraPapa, I got the last in stock hammer&trigger kit. Expensive kit especially with our dollar right now but worth it to me. I've had the pleasure to shoot both kitted and non kitted carbines. I think Flahertys will be you best bet in getting one timing wise. Good luck to you hunting one down.
