cx4 storm in .45 cal

The only 'problem' with the .45ACP version is that only 5 round mags exist since Beretta doesn't make a .45 with interchangeable mags. Kinda takes away a lot of the fun of the Storm!

yeah, thats the big problem with the USC too. the 5 round mags.

Im almost tempted to try and make a mag well block or something to use 1911 mags. They should have lots of room for a block (think: what HERA was doing for AR15 mags to use in the SL8 with the clip on plastic spacers)...

Or maybe a SIG P220 mag since you can get good reliable 10 rounders. Not too much experience with 1911 10 rounders.

I tried SW 5946 15 round mags in my Storm. I had my fingers crossed, but they didn't work. Didn't think they would but it was worth a try.

The .45 model is harder to find because the importer stopped bringing them in in this caliber because of the Dawson shooting, even though it wasnt the caliber used...

I don't know where all you guys are getting 5 rounds from,
but my .45 cx4 takes 8, theyve always taken 8.
You can still buy mags, they take 8.

cheers.

Now I'm just confused. Are those 8 round mags you use in your CX4 rifle marked "pistol"? If not, then everything the CFC ever told me about mag capacity restrictions in rifles is incorrect.

..If the mags are marked CX4 Storm, then the mags are restricted to 5 rounds because they`re considered "rifle" mags.....But, if there are no CX4 Storm markings on the mag, then it`s considered a pistol mag (for the Cougar 8045), ergo, 8 rounds....
