Possibly interested in getting one down the road ..... have searched and read most of the posts about the Storm in these forums. It's appealing because of the 10 round capacity, 9mm would be inexpensive and I like the "tactical" look to it. This would be my first firearm outside of a restricted pistol, so I'm relatively new and don't want to get burned on my first purchase. Any advice or input about the Storm? Anyone know of any stores in BC they would recommend to buy one from? How easy are accessories for the Storm to find locally (ie BC) or would I have to ebay or buy online? Thanks in advance!

John a Wolverines is the best place to get your Storm and for accessories. Just ordered the front picatinny rail wit a tango down grip from them and as usual i got first class service.

I have one. the only thing which I dislike is the slide lock , it's plasitc, and has a lot of "give" to it.. I suspect that it will be the first casuality over the years, and need to be replaced.

love mine. .put a red dot on it and after a session or two you'll start buying 9mm by the case:D :D

The trigger pull is typical beretta a little long but after a while you don't even notice it.

some come up for sale on gunnutz every now & then & you typically save $150- $200 over the price of a new one. you can even get a longer barrel installed to make it non restricted for groundhog assault work ;) not sure of conversion price a few $100s.

I have the 9mm restricted with a red dot,I'm impressed with the accuracy, the ease of stripping and cleaning. When you take it to the range, everybody has to try it.I also have a 9mm Taurus (Beretta Clone) which works out well.
I agree with ckc123 on the slide lock.
I could'nt find Accessories in BC.got mine from cgn:)

I just got mine used here on CGN and love it. Once all the snow is gone and more guys are at the range I know it will see alot more hands than just mine.
And yes a few more cases of 9mm are on my list for the next trip to the city.

I was a little concerned about running these on the range because of the number of plastic parts. They have however really surprised me, with their durability and reliability. I have been running them for over a year and only had to replace a couple springs.

Recoil, hammer and trigger bar.

Thanks Redleg...do you carry these parts?
I tried my "powderpuff" IPSC Vertec .40cal reloads in my Storm (180gr FMJ over 4.0gr Titegroup) and it functioned fine, except for the fact that it occcasionally wouldn't lock the bolt back after the last round (yeh...limpwristing...right..:p ) and I couldn't get "on the paper" at 100 yards, unlike the Fiocchi factory ammo, which got on the paper (a standard 12"x12" target) no problem at 100yds.
So I will be using either "full power" reloads or factory ammo in my Storm...in which case I should get the above "spring kit".
A really fun gun to shoot....love those 10 round mags.
