Hi all

i have a cx4 storm in .45, i love the gun but hate the trigger.
pull is very hard and long, can a trigger job be done to this firearm?
i was told that the trigger mechanism of the CX4 is unique and may not be modified. is this true, and what are my options?

any feedback would be appriciated
thanks

The whole trigger mechanism is plastic parts, pretty fragile to start with. I have a friend who dropped his on the muzzle and it hasn't worked right since, and is currently back at berretta (again):runaway:

thanks for the reply.
that is what i suspected, i sure hope some metal aftermarket parts will be available at some point to replace all the plastic parts and somehow be able to lighten the trigger pull.

if anyone has an idea let me know please

i have a storm in 40. The trigger sucks, especially the first round which you have to jerk the trigger. Still a lot of fun and quite accurate. I spoke with a gunsmith at the Feb. gun show in Edmonton. He was willing to do a trigger job on my 45 Vaqueros but just grinned when I asked about a trigger job on my Storm.

I had/have the same issue, as do most Storm owners.
I put some grease on the trigger contact points and found it really improved the
quality, although not the weight, of the pull.

that really sucks, its a great looking gun i just put a laser on mine and fun to shoot from the hip. but that trigger has to go,i'll try the grease trick otherwise just bear with it.
i hope their new .223 model does not have the same trigger design.

I love/hate my storm

Glad to hear that I am not the only one that enjoys shooting from the hip.
