I was told there was a backorder on the picatinny head at the time and I think it was forgotten about. I got busy with life and haven't followed up.
I've got a couple and a buddy has one, they aren't as bad as the one but still more play than I'd like. I'd say the Atlas legs are tighter than the others by comparison but the atlas doesn't have the movement and range that the Ckyepod does. The atlas locks up to the picatinny rail better but that is a different QD design. I keep meaning to order the Old Balls picatinny/ arca adapter to use for both rails but haven't gotten there yet.
I just don't use the Ckyepod for groups or load development. The Accutac, 5h or Tier One are better choices for groups and loads in my opinion.
