Hi, I just received my stripped down (czh 2003 sport) barrel and receiver assembly from Marstar. It was bought in as is condition.
I have a parts kit for a cz858 which has all the internals to do a full build. I assumed the receivers were the same but there not.
My problem is on my receiver there is a block of steel welded on the floor in between the trigger assembly and magazine well. It sticks up high enough to prevent the bolt carrier from moving all the way forward. It stops about 1/2" shy from the chamber. I think they call this a bridge!

1)Is there a special bolt carrier machined to function with this set up?
2)Was there a machine process forgotten on this block of steel?

I will post pics as soon as possible to help with my explanation. If any one has experienced the same problem I have or knows what needs to be down the information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your help!

Your breech block carrier needs to be filed/dremmeled to remove the piece that contacts the welded in part of your receiver. I has to remove a 4mmx4mm piece to get mine to function. Just check yours often as you file. It'll just go all of a sudden.
Do you have go/no go guages by chance? I'll post a pic tommorow.

I have a CZ 2003 Sport rifle (Marstar) as well as a parts kits (Wolverine).

There 2003 bolt carrier has a portion milled off and the parts kit carrier will not fit.

If you need pics I'm sure I can dig them out for a photo opp.

Talk to Frank @ Marstar as he helped me out with the excate same issue. Although I did get a parts kit from Wolverine & Shyane @ Reliable said that the part's kit wouldn't work due to the fact that the triger is in the wrong spot. Sucks to be me but I hope you have better luck.

I just bolted my parts together yesterday. After I relieved the metal on the bolt carrier, everthing functioned fine. As long as it headspaces o.k., I'll have a VZ58L for under $500.
