I'm pretty sure they are CZ brand as stated. Sako got the ranger rifle contract now I believe with colt Canada involved somehow. The ones Wolverine has now are CZ ranger rifles, CZ probably made a pitch for the contract and these are the rifles they made in the ranger rifle pitch/bid/etc.. I'm sure Wolverine or someone in the know will correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I'm thinking.

Hard to imagine, but mag capacity is not limited for a dedicated bolt action mag.

What Rockwell hardness is the magazine manufactured to? Average length of grain of the wood? Length of pull down to 0.001"? Will it clean dishes or sweep floors?

Someone around here scored and actual ranger CZ with the ranger crest laser engraved in the butt stock a while back. It was a surprise when it arrived,

These "Ranger" rifles are the same as CZ submitted to DND (with out the Ranger crest). The contact award for Ranger rifles went to Tikka with some kind of contract arrangement with Colt Canada for the manufacture of them.

These CZ rifles are NOT "Canadian Ranger Rifles" more correctly we are simply calling them "Ranger" rifles. I like them, they are a good rugged rifle, I believe these are the first in Canada.
