I've recently acquired my first CZ - a CZ 452 American and I'm really impressed with the initial accuracy at 50 & 100 yrds using subsonic rounds. My 50 yd groups are consistently under .5 inch (when I do my part), but I want to give those Annie's a run for their money!
I'm starting to dial the rifle in and just received my Yodave trigger kit to reduce length of pull and weight. I've also floated my barrel by removing a pinch point and hope to do an bedding and pillar job in the near future.
I understand that shooters can also reduce group sizes by figuring out the right amount of torque that should be exerted when tightening the screws connecting the 452 stock to the receiver & barrel.
Can anyone give me their settings and/or suggest the amount of weight (in lbs.) to start testing?
The above question also goes for my Savage Mk II BV with a laminate stock.
Thanks to all and especially YoDave for sending me the trigger kit earlier this month!
