Looking for help finding rings for a CZ 452 American.Rings must be 3/8 Not 11mm and high with a 1" tube.Nothing so far at Cabelas or crappy tire in Winnipeg....searching on line.Much appreciated.

Talleys. Their standard base is a 3/8 dovetail like the 452 American so you can use any standard ring and they come in a number of different heights. My buddy uses them on his American and they work perfectly. I was a bit hesitant when he first got them because there isn't a recoil stop but being a 22lr, they haven't slipped at all.

Burris Signature Zee rings. They have the mounting piece that can be made either 11mm or 3/8", and the adjustable inserts can assist with centering the scope and leaves no ring marks.

I use the Burris and Warne mentioned and if you are on a limited budget BKL257( airgun section). One interesting solution is get an EGW rail( ebay the company sells here, ships to Canada) the rail takes both Weaver or Picatinny rings. One advantage is the height of the rail helps so you don’t have to remove the rear sight.

I have 452 lux and went with the Burris medium rings, but had to take them back because scope height was not sufficient for the bolt to clear the eyepiece. I had the Nikon Rimfire scope and it just cleared but kinda sucked, then switched it for the Nikon P-22 which has a bigger eyepiece and it was a no go.

Ended up getting a Sun weaver style rail that bolts onto the dovetail with low rings (forget the brand). This solution doesn't really fit the style of the rifle, but functionally it is great.

Also, as an aside, this allows me to take off the scope in one piece by taking off the entire rail. This works well for me as I switch back and forth to iron sights - though not an issue with a 452 American. Scope seems to retain alignment just fine when rail remounted.

These CZ bolt handles has always been a bone of contention with me.
A purrfect example of a brilliant rifle only scorned by the amount of clearance
these bolts need for lift.

Too bad that CZ can't copy cough........cough........ Brownings examples................

Thanks for all the assistance!Think I will try Wolverine supply in Burden for either Talleys or Burris in High?Kamlooky....pretty sure we know the same people out your way.

I picked up some Talley's from Prophet River (M100004) beautiful rings perfect fit. You might want to give Dan a call in St Pierre Manitoba (Rat River Outdoors) he might have some Leupold rings in stock.
I hear the Leupold rings are also a good fit.

I was sold the Leopold rimfire rings and they were a tad too big for the dovetail. Might be the sold me the wrong ones, but they said 11mm.

I have never seen the Leupold rings on a 452 american. From what I have read on various threads its the Leupold 13mm rings that will fit the 452 american dovetail.
The dovetail size is different for the 452 american to the regular 452.

leupold rings fit both but you have to flip the tabs, one side is 11mm and the other 3/8 yet they both fit and work on the groove on the rings side, not the dovetail in the receiver
