CZ 452 American

Shooter_01: It might be a long journey to find an un-shot 452 American in 22LR but eventually one will show up on E.E. Just keep looking.
Have you ever considered a 452 Silhouette instead? I don't like synthetic stocks in general but the one on my Silhouette fits me perfect, better than wood.

Yes, I've definitely considered a 452. If I spot one, I'll snap it up!

Thanks!

Please educate me.
What makes the 452 more desirable then perhaps a 455?

I just bought my first CZ452 merican in 17HMR, but have yet to fire it.
Just ordered rings for it yesterday

To me they feel better then the 455. Some people say they like the 455 better though. My 452 american hmr shoots very good.

Not personally a fan of the concessions made for the swap barrel 455... I prefer the 452/453... I have a 452 Varmint and Lux (both LR) and a 453 American (also LR)... they are fine small bore rifles... I have been debating on finding a 452 Lux in .17 HM2 for a dedicated squirrel rifle.

To add to the above:

I recently purchased a "NIB" 452 Amercian off the EE. After it was at home and I could give it a thorough inspection, it didn't meet my standards. Now, I don't blame the seller, because it would take someone as picky as I am to find a flaw. Its truly in excellent shape, but not NIB. I will most likely put it on the EE, if I can locate a new one.

Anyway, that's just to show how fussy I am and why I want to purchase brand new, not used.
I looked hard at the one you just sold, where was the flaw? Looked pretty nice to me. I have 4 452 22lr ,2 are Americans unfired. The 452 is getting harder to find, not really a fan of the 455. Good luck in your search,I will keep an eye out for you.

You know, I really can't remember. I looked as I was packing it up, but couldn't identify anything. I knew it was small, but forgot how small it was, I suppose. Oh well, on to a new home.

Yes, the 452's are becoming really tough to find - particularly certain models.

Thanks for keeping an eye out.

The search continues.

Update:

renegator (above) directed me to a source that he felt may still have a 452 American in stock. I gave them a call and wouldn't you know it, he was right! They had not one, but three left! I purchased two and he purchased the last. He went out of his way to pick them up and is now going to ship them to me, as the retailer doesn't ship firearms.

Thanks again, renegator! :D

Thanks to all who helped and kept an eye out for me.

Much appreciated.
