452 Grand Finale?

Does this mean this will be the last of the great 452 line? No more encores? Last hurrah? Last ever 452? Finito? The End of the Line? Boo hoo hoo :(

It's indeed a beauty and could be worth the money to many CZ aficionados.

With only 1000 made (so far), the engraving makes it more than ordinary. That description of the stock would seem understated as the wood is supposed to be specially selected for looks.

Perhaps not as "fancy" as the CZ 453 Premium, which was also engraved, with select wood, and a fluted barrel.

They are supposed to list for $1000, somebody is being very greedy with their upcharge on gunbroker here. I suppose the niche market for these are the super CZ fanboys with deep pockets.

I guess the (452) end is near! Nice rifle, a lot of chit chat about these on RFC. Collector item indeed.

I'd love to own one of those, just no room for $1,000+ collector items (=dust collectors) in the safe. I've yet to own a nice Anschutz, so if I ever spend more than what I spent on my new 452 Varmint, it will be something from Germany. :)

Beauty CZ though...would be nice...

That $1500 USD turns into about $2500 CDN once you factor in exchange rate, taxes and import fee (shipping not included).

For what you're getting in the rifle product quality wise, not even close to worth it. Grossly inflated "collector's value" for something you can't even go shoot (must remain unfired to retain value).

For the same price you could import a custom 455 build from a certain New York gunsmith with a 0.2" @ 50 yard accuracy guarantee. Or buy a sweet Annie.

When you look at it like that its hardly seems like a good price. I think your right. Unless your a die hard collector its not worth it.

Funny how they quit building 452s 3 to 5 years ago to concentrate on the easier to produce 455 yet they still keep showing up in new configurations.

^agreed, though I'm glad they did. The 452 Varmint in 17M2 never materialized up here...looked for one of those on this side of the border for some time.
