CZ 452 Grand Finale

Amosfella,
Beautiful rifle that's for sure. I recall seeing one on EE a couple of years ago. When was this limited batch of czs made?

From my experience across multiple hobbies, a "Collector Edition" of anything will almost always be less desirable and sought after in the long run that premium featured low production items. Amosfella's 453 premium is (IMO) a more collectable rifle than the "Grand Finale". It has the same jeweled bolt, engraving, nicer looking stock checkering (to my taste anyway), and is likely harder to find. It also sports a fluted barrel which is a very nice touch, and something absent from the Grand Finale.

I purchased a limited edition 453 brand new in box off the EE a couple years ago.

From research it seems that CZ has made a number of limited edition runs of both rifles and handguns, and there are differences among some of the same editions and some editions were for specific markets.

You're very welcome. Thanks for the kind words.

Have you ever shot yours or is it still a virgin?

So far I put a nice Leupold Rimfire 2-7 on mine with Leupold rings (could not find engraved CZ) and have not shot it.

I note that yours has the single trigger while mine has the double set trigger. This is what I mean by differences among the same limited edition. I have seen on the internet different engravings from mine on that 453 from guys in NZ.

The guy I bought it from had a scope on it. I chose not the buy the rings and scope at the time... I haven't shot it...

I suppose I will devalue mine if ever I shoot it.........

Oh well, what good is a gun that just sits in the safe.

Do you have the box and paperwork for yours? Mine came in the plastic wrap with oil on it in orig box and all paperwork. They are lovely artwork of rifles, and the double set trigger on mine is light and crisp as I have tested it using a snap cap.

Expensive paper weight. Love Cz rifles but im not willing to wait 20-30 years for this to double in value.

For the price get a nice anni to put critters down with.
