CZ 452 Lux or 455 standard which one would you buy?

I do like my 452(s) over my 455(s) as I don't have any need to swap bbls. I like the fact that the 452 bbl's are screwed into the action as opposed to the 2 bolts holding the 455 bbl.

Really not a issue in actual use tho.

Pick the stock you like and go from there.

main reason why i am picking up a 455 is because lilja has some drop in heavy bull barrels for them. just makes my upgrades that little bit easier.

Trying to decide on whether to purchase the 452 lux or 455 standard

I could't find what a 455 standard is (American?)
When I went shopping I compared the 452 lux vs 455 lux. I wanted a nice bolt with irons for general plinking. Already have a scope bolt for "precision" shooting.
My preference was the 455 lux due to the shorter bbl but then saw the 513 basic (with a lesser trigger group). Ended up buying neither (for now).

Getting a Lilja into Canada will be an experience in itself. You could spend a lot of money on that task.

For the lilja you better have some deep pockets. Atrs can get them but be prepared to pay at least what you did for the gun itself.

yea im going to make it my project gun. i already have a savage mk2 which is pretty damn accurate as stock (BTVS).

im going to pick up a cz455 evolution which comes with a bull barrel anyways. after a little bit i plan on getting the barrel, doing the trigger job, bedding, etc. i want to get this gun sug .5" at 50m 100% of the time.

BTW why does importing have to be so difficult. its a damn metal tube

My american does that or less with eley ammo 95% of the time. It would have no problem shooting smaller groups if I wasn't holding onto it.

If you want to put a scope on it buy the American, or the Varmint, If you want open sights get the lux, the stock on the lux is European and is not designed for a scope, the 452 Lux has better sights and is made better than the 455 lux.
