Im just looking for a decent budget priced , but reasonably accurate rifle for my self to begin silhouette shooting with . I only became aware of the taper rule this last Sunday when i attended a local range (Victoria Fish and Game) and observed the monthly meet . There was only 3 shooters , so i was encouraged by the members to try my hand with their rifles . Very helpful and generous members . Quite enjoyed it , in fact i will join and compete hopefully next month . And while I've have quite a bit of interest in it , i wasnt aware of some of the details in the rules , such as barrel taper for smallbore hunting rifle competition . I only want to invest in 1 rifle for now , that i can use for both smallbore , and smallbore hunting . And i would also like to keep the dollars down , with the need for a scope as well . And the CZ 452/455 American keeps coming up as a decent rifle for accuracy and quality . I also was looking at a Ruger 77/22 as well , but i think my heart is set on a CZ . Tho im am open minded to suggestions from the members here , as im sure there is many many Silhouette shooters here . The Silhouette bug has bitten me hard
Thanks
