I bought a new CZ 452 American in 22 rim and here is the update with the
trials and tribulations.
All in all it should work.................
I bought a 4x32 Scorpion. Clarity is pretty amazing. So much so, this one
came home with me. The rings aren't bad, but a tad high and the 3/8's
don't work great on the <13mm CZ dovetail. The 3/8's rimfire rings will work
on a pinch, but don't fit worth chit. Couple photos of what I am refering to.

Not a horrible install, but meh. I'm fussy.

Couple more of t'other side.

Then I remembered the old Redfield 3/4" scope and well.......you decide?

Good bolt handle clearance, but I couldn't do it......

So a phone call and some helpful info made me go for a drive and pick up
these to try. Ya, I know, I wasn't smart enough to take a photo of this
package with the rings inside and I sure wasn't going to pull them off
the CZ to stuff them back in. Info is what I am trying to show.

Next bunch are what will work with these rings. It's a 3x9x40 miscreant....

These are the 13mm medium Leupold looking from the barrel side.
They were on finger tight.

And a shot from the business end. A bit of gap under the base, but CZ
will not ship the proper rings up here. There is a way, but heck, my butt
has been kicked on a shoot out, so I need to step up or eat crow.
Never cared much for the black feathers.............H you there?

Now for some end results. Mucho betterest......
I opened the bolt after this photo and found I had to move the scope
back a weee bit to clear the kanobby. Messed up my almost perfect
spacing........eh Cheezie........

Had to show you the Scorpion. Call this my little Buggy scope.

So there you have it folks. The thorn in my side for at least a couple or so
weeks. I got away with mediums as this scope alowed me to pull the ocular
lens back enough to clear the bolt. The silver scope (aka Simmons 8 Point)
allowed me the same clearance. I tried to put on a 3x9x40 Legend, but
the back end of the scope was a lot fatter and needed high rings to clear
the bolt knob.
Now I need to get some egg off my face with a fellow Nutzs as I thought I
had 11mm dovetail and had him chasing his tail. Chevy, you are an honorable
soul. Thanks for your help and setting my chart in the right direction.
That's it for now.
Gunpowder feller, dust off your sword............
