I know that the 452 has a 3/8" wide dovetail groove but will I need special rings for this? I want to mount a Bushnell 3200 on the gun that I just ordered :) and wonder if the ordinary 1" weaver rings will work. I'm sure there' s quick answer for this and please excuse my ignorance.

What kind of rings would I need for my new CZ 452 Lux?

The Lux has an 11mm groove. Check out Eric Brooks site cz452.com and he can kit you out with some 11mm to Weaver adapters or BLK bases/rings.

Best deal going for a quality Hawke match grade ring for a CZ452, check out Illingworth's Imports Inc. from Saskatchewan. Just put a set on a new CZ 452 silhouette and they are awesome. These are hard to beat for $24.99

I have had a few pm's looking for more information on these Biatholon Match Grade mounts. They are better than the kind that tighten from both sides as there is no way to introduce any twisting torque on your scope.
Look them up on there website if your intested.

The CZ rifles will accept any standard .22 ring, but with a catch. They need to be high enough to clear the ocular lens when the bolt is open and particularly when trying to remove the bolt. High burris .22 rngs do the job nice. So do the Lynx rings by B-square.

Depending on the shape and size of the scope objective lense, you may also need high or very high rings to clear the fixed rear site mount on the Standard and Lux barrels. Burris high QD and Sig. Zee rings on 1mm-to-Weaver bases work for me.
