CZ 452 SCOUT - Love Thread, Share your Pics, Experiences, Questions, Answers

That's correct, no magazine at all. So adding a magazine for $50-60 or whatever it was killed the deal for me.

Yeah you can't teach an old dog (CZ purists) new tricks i guess! :stirthepot2: My 455 shoots lasers beyond 100 yards and looks great in the Canadian stock!

I like the red Canadian stock, eh! In case you need, 5-rd plastic mags are 40$ at Lever Arms.

I agree the 455s slip-on barrels can be and are accurate. It could be a perceived detriment or real (if the receiver-barrel fit ever loosens after a thousand barrel swaps:d). But you know old-dogs....

I did this one up for my 11 year old grandson a few of years ago and he loved it. Then I did some customizing on it , put in a yodave trigger kit then bedded it into a boyds PV stock that I shortend the lop and forend on .Last fall i let him shoot my 20 vartarg so now he has lost all interest in in 22 rimfire and wants to trade Grandpa his CZ for the Vartarg lol.

I LIKE!!!

The 452 Scout is probably the most used rifle in our house. The kids like it, the parents like it, what is not to be liked? MOA accurate with SK Std+ ammo and just slightly worse with CCI subsonic HPs (the action has a metal pillar and is epoxy bedded). Compact and light, it fits easily in the storage box of my quad, perfect for hunting in deep bush. It would be my #1 choice for a survival 22 because it kills animals dead with 1 shot. No "spraying required".
Kody

ps: I will buy another 452 Scout when/if they show up for sale :)

Lower picture - Another one painted in camo

Gorgeous home manufactured Kevlar and fiberglass stock, made by Kody himself. Almost a pound lighter than the wood stock.
Seen unpainted in the top picture.
Bottom picture is painted in Camo.

This custom Kevlar/glass stock will make the Scout even better for field use due to lighter overall weight and shift of center of gravity a couple inches forward, for steadier hold.

I had one and liked it. But I sold it a while ago to buy something else. It shot pretty good... 1/2"-3/4" groups at 50m with most good ammo. Sure was pretty.

I found a 452 Scout today that I have been debating picking up for my sons, though I already have a Rascal. My eldest was trying my 452 UL and though the LOP was too long for him, he really liked shooting with a scope and having a multi-round mag. Price was $575 and I have another two days to decide.....

Do it. There is no comparison.

If u don't buy it let me kno where this scout is at

Well, I did pick it up and then they tell me that they have one more in stock. I checked it out and it had nice wood as well. Shop is tiny little shop in Kelowna called Weber & Markin Gunsmith and I asked, they do ship.

My 452 Scout stays with me till croaksville. This one out shot my previous 452 Silhouette and 452 Lux. I have a 455 Ultra Match coming and can hardly wait to do an accuracy comparison test with 'er.:)

@shellshucker. Like the looks if your scout setup n low powered scope! Wish I had never sold my scout I had! Mine shot super accurate!

Do they have email? I couldn't call them they were closed. I want to order that scout from them in Kelowna !

They have an email listed on their Facebook page, but who knows if they actually read it - this is a tiny shop and I know that they were preparing to go to the Penticton Gun Show tomorrow; they have 4 tables booked. I would call them in the morning.

Shell Shucker, IMO, your scope "matches" the Scout very well in terms of function and aesthetics.

Zedbra, congrats on your new Scout. Could be the second to the last 452 Scout in Canadian stores.

Mike, where you able to buy the last Scout?
