CZ 452 Varmint or 455 Canadian Exclusive (what to buy)

We usually shoot golf balls at 100m with Dynapoints after the match ammo goes away for the day. Granted still from the bench but some come-up and wind corrections are required.

Its also fun to see how small you can split up pieces of clay pigeons at 100m.

They are an impressive box of bulk. This spring I'll be using more of a bench for shooting. Stretch things out too 100yds.

Good choice with the 452 !

I must also add that the 452 Varmint have a tapered heavy barrel.
Its heavier than the American model but because of the taper, the balance is not that bad.

I also prefer the 452's over the 455. The 455's are not bad and the canadian version is good looking but the 452's are slightly better.

I had many CZ's and my favorite is this 452 American with a walnut stock.

I've got 2 brno's a 2 and a 2E both can shoot better than me and unless one of my grand daughters talks me out of one I'll be dead before they go anywhere, of course there is the 452 varmint 17HMR that does take things to a whole new level 1 1/2" at 2 hundred when I'm haveing a good day.

Had a go at the range, two best 10 shot groups where under one inside 1 inch square and one about 1.25 inch with a flyer to ruin my day. shot at 25 yards off bench hand held.
I have old crappy eyes, I'm sure it is capable of better I'm the weak link.

Sadly we cannot own them in Canada(yet), but if I had a choice it would be the CZ 455 with integral suppressor . I was able to get my hands on one last week at Shot and did not want to put it down. The guy I talked to at the CZ booth said that all you can hear is the click of the trigger and then the bullet impacting the target.
