CZ 452 Varmint Scope mounting

Hey all,

Just about to order a CZ 452 Varmint and I was wondering if anyone out there who owns one could recommend a good base/ring combo for mounting a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 on it. Lets hear what works best for you!

Just bought 452 American and have that exact scope on it. I have high Leupold rimfire rings. Think you need high for bolt clearence. I have a pic posted on a few threads below.

Yours looks fantastic! Did you try a med ring to see if the bolt handle would clear?

The exact reason that I no longer own CZ or BRNO rimfires.With the classic stock,and the scope mounted so high,they don't fit me very well.They are great rifles,they just don't fit me.

No I didnt, just asked Clay to send me rings that would work with that scope.
Seems to fit me OK, should be alright when Im in the gopher patch

So were they 11mm rings?

3/8" is what I was sold but now that I look closley the dovetail is wider then 3/8" and a 11mm or possibly 13mm would fit better. Looks like these will be going back.

Hawke Match mounts, 11-13mm, medium height, very sturdy and didn't cost much.

Get a set of dovetail rings and crank them down they will hold,

Burris rimfire highs are what mine wears. Any new CZ should take a standard 3/8.
