Bought my 452 about a month ago and my pal bought his 455 yesterday. Both Varmints .22lr. Was surprised at the differences. One seems as accurate as the other with different ammo. CCI Mini Mags being the best of the HV so far. Both Heavy Barrels of course but his 455 barrel is definitely thicker/heavier than my 452s. His stock is nicer and different too. Both same price. Some shooters claim the 452 is more accurate but I doubt it just going by our informal testing today. Tomorrow will be a gopher day, so more testing involved.

It is more accurate, every once and a while a decent 455 comes off the line. Buy a YODAVE kit for the trigger and as for the wood its a crap shoot what you get. Also go to rimfirecentral.com in the states ,lots of tips on how to get the best out of your CZ.

If you enjoy shooting them that is the most important starting point the rest will fall into place.Go out and shoot a brick or more and have some fun if you desire to go further with some changes there are lots of ideas to follow. Have a good time moving forward. Go out and dispatch some gophers.

Both require a YoDave trigger kit but you may get the desired results on both rifles with one kit.
The 452 should have the barrel free floated and the sliding dovetail frozen with a M6x6 set screw.
The 455 should be pillar bedded and the firing pin reshaped.
Lots of information on rimfirecentral.com . . . scroll down to the Brno/CZ page.

I removed the barrel lug screw and the lug on my 452 Varmint.
The remaining action screw is pretty tight and it shoots best that way. The barrel is free floating all the way to the action.
