Cz 452

went out for a rip on the atv and took the cz with me ... hoping for some rabbits for the stewpot
didn't see squat, not even a squirrel ???


so i took some shots at 35 yards ( standing but leaning on a tree )
- first was with some rem target... i was abit shakey from the walk on the trail ...so i wouldn't blame this old ammo


then took out some old wildcats ...


the CZ is stock with Talley rings and a 4x nikon ... and groups were 10 shot

anyhow i thought i post it since people ask from time to time about CZ accuracy... and if i can do this.. then the gun can do Lots better ... LOL

Now where the hell did all the rabbits go ?

If you can find some American eagle in Hp, give them a try...
But, then again you are doing pretty well with what you have already.
Mine happens to like anything you feed it actually.

My 452 likes the DynaPoints, but looks like the Wildcats are worth a try too.

Had good luck with Win Wildcats accuracy wise. They were on sale along with Win Xpert hp at Saskatoon Cabelas, boxing day a couple of years ago. $12.99, bulk box. Only bought 5 boxes, should have taken at least a case. Have to see if the Wildcats take kindly to the hp mod with the Waltz die.

+1 for the CZ 452. I've liked all the ones I've owned.

Wildcats used to be good ammo in my experience. Newer stuff, less so.

They shoot cci fine but, due to the slightly longer cases of the cci, they seem to be much harder to close the bolt on.

My 452 Scout does nice with Blazers, but better with Lapua & Eley. Gotta get some of the Russian olympic
ammo to try.

They shoot cci fine but, due to the slightly longer cases of the cci, they seem to be much harder to close the bolt on.

Non stinger ammo doesn't really have any longer case that I have noticed.

I shoot win 333 in mine a bunch because its cheap and shoots very well. Shoot a lot of mini mags and subsonic (those also shoot extremely well). Cci blazer in the 50 round boxes is alright and fed bulk is like 1-1.5" groups at 50 yards.

I do like my 452 but my 455 is slightly better with the same ammo. Nice guns, now if cz would standardize the scope mounting grooves it would be a step ahead.

They did on the 455. They are all 11mm.

Here is the chart. Its not that hard to remember all 22r except the 452 american is 11mm and all the 452 mag's are 3/8

resemble the wide girth of my dovetail.
