A longer barrel on any CZ bolt action rifle will have no bearing on its accuracy -- except when using iron sights. With irons, the longer sight radius can be an advantage. When scoped, a longer rifle barrel does not make it more accurate.

I bought it for iron sights only. All guns are scoped already and really enjoy good irons for the challenge. I was looking for an ultra Lux for a long while but maybe that version is almost too long and could poke people's eyes out with it? Lol

Personally I wouldn't bother. I've been using Century Springs from Home Hardware and have been able to get very acceptable results for 3 bucks.
Thing is; same rifle, I shoot better all day long with iron sights free-hand than I can with a scope. Not sure if this is normal, but it is me.
