CZ 455 American Combos at Wolverine

I was lucky enough to buy the last one in stock should have it by Friday. I'm also using my CZ 455 as a 17hmr gun only & I'm looking for a new CZ 452 in .22lr right now, once I off load my Savage 93r17 BRJ.

Shooter's choice in Waterloo has a couple of new CZ 452's .22LR in stock still.

I got my rifle today ;) overall I happy with the wood it has some character, 1 light mark on the finish where the bolt goes into the receiver. Did you other guys get 2 targets in the box? I did but....... one was a different serial number & name on the paper. Great group under MOA. but the one my gun came with had a flyer almost off the sheet. Overall very pleased with service & the rifle.

Looks great! Let us know how it shoots!
BTW I like that Wolverine always ships CZs in the styrofoam box that keeps the goodies nice and safe during shipping. The basic paper box that other CZ dealers are for whatever reason using barely survives Canada Post "treatment".

The 455's come with styrofoam anyway its not just a wolverine thing.

Don't waste money on the second barrel. Resighting after changing is a pain and wastes money. Be cheaper in the long run to buy 2 guns...

I disagree..
Barrel change took me less than 5 minutes.
If it takes you more than 3 or 4 rounds of ammo to re zero. ... You're doing it wrong.
.22 ammo is like 15 cents per round. .17HMR is about 30 cents per round.
At most it should cost you $1.20 to re zero in .17HMR

'Got mine from Wolverine too... Topped with a 2-7x33 Leupold in Warne rings... she's ready to go.

My last 5 cz didn't have Styrofoam boxes. All purchased in 2013. Varying build dates from 2011 to 2013. One of my barrels came i styro box.

None came from wolverine. Wolverine gets inventory straight from Europe not all others do.

Seen lots in styro. Its not just wolverine. I think even one of my 452's came in styro.

Not sure how to figure out which box you get when because I purchased one 455 from Wolverine in 2012 and it came in styro. Second 455 from another dealer (2013) came in a basic paper box and actually got ruined during shipping (the dealer replaced it expeditiously with another 455 that again arrived in a basic paper box). My third CZ (452) that arrived this January was purchased from a third dealer and it arrived in the same flimsy paper box. Go figure. I recall that CZUSA used to sell the styro box on their website for a couple of bucks so one could assume that some dealers would take a small cut on their margin to provide a superior shipping solution for their clients.

I bought a 455 a year or two back, and it came in a really cheesy package. No damage, but wouldn't have survived much longer. I called the dealer and she said she would advise the shipping dudes. Hopefully there was some improvement.

mine was shipped

had to bring this post back to life as I have a question for you other guys that have this model... should I have the barrel checked for headspace when swapping or was this done at the factory?..
i.e. do I need to worry about this when swapping back & forth?

one more question, anyone know what an extra barrel is worth?
