CZ 455 Barrel Swap

This weekend I swapped out the 22lr barrel on my CZ 455 SuperMatch for a 22mag barrel I picked up on the EE. Swapped the barrels, torqued to the specs I found on line and figured I'd need to re-site it in at the range. This was my first 5 rounds. I thought CZ's were good before but Damn.

That's some good results right after just a barrel swap.
YkYk and I know that CZ's are silently very good for the money.
Tight Groups rat-7 , but you are already there.

Very nice rat7, CZ's are great rifles no question. And the 22 magnum rimfire caliber can be extremely accurate as well.:)

Can you please tell us how far the target was? 25 yards, 50 yards? :unsure:

And what ammunition were you using?

That was my first mag at 25yd using just regular 40gr CCI MaxiMags. I didn't put anymore paper up but I did move down the range and emptied 3 more mags ringing the 6" gong at 200yd. This is going to be a dedicated varmint gun so I was happy with that accuracy level. ;)

The varmints are in trouble out your way….:)

Have you tried the 30 grain Hornady V-Max 22 magnum ammo? Your group is an excellent one for sure.

Congrats, we love CZ rimfire rifles as well.

Nothing wrong with the 455 action. This is what I did to my Super Match; below is a 10 shot, 100 yard group with Tac 22.
