CZ 455 Lux barrel kit

Is there anywhere in Canada where a guy could pick up a 17hmr barrel kit? Got a new CZ455 Lux in 22lr also wondering if any if you guys ever swap your barrels or isnt it worth it.

ronnie01, do you have a link? I'm having a hard time finding a canadian supplier for the cz 455 lux .17hmr barrel. I have the cz 455 lux in .22lr, and would really like the .17hmr.

You have to phone them as it isn't on the web site .They are familiar with cz's no problem.
Now is a good time to call as they have a 10.00 shipping special.I've used them a few times no problems at all.

Swapping barrels isn't hard at all. Your zero will be different (unless you have some freakish luck). You will need to take care making things as repeatable as possible. I have found the barrel swapping using a torque wrench to give a pretty good repeatable zero if I do everything the same (same torque sequence). Can swap barrels in 5 minutes including adding some clicks to bring the zero back. I normally keep the .22 barrel on as I spend 98% of my time on the range, but it is nice to pull out the laser every once in a while- especially when you have some space to stretch your legs...

Talked to wanstalls according to them a cz455 lux 22 lr can not take a 22wmr or 17hmr barrel. But he says a cz455 in 22wmr or 17hmr can take any of the 3 barrels. Acorrding to my research hes wrong. Am I right?

Your correct, Whomever at Wanstalls you spoke with is incorrect. When swapping from either 17HMR or 22 Mag, to 22 LR , the magazine assembly needs to be changed out.

Hi,I just swapped out the .22 lr barrel on my 455 fs to the .22wmr barrel with no problems , infact it shoots better! The 455 is a standardised platform , unless you are trying to fit a varmit barrel.

Here is the sku 2062 17hmr barrel.

Taken rite from the Wanstalls invoice Sat nov 9th 2013.The barrel is a lux as it has front and rear sights on it,comes with the 17hmr magazine and wrench.
