Found mags on an british website. riflemags.co.uk looks like they had plenty in stock. I looked on epps website and never found that barrel anywhere so i dont know if they sold it or what. Will the lux barrel work with the american model?

Yes. They are all the same. The varmint you might have to open up the barrel channel to fit the heavy barrel.

Bashaw had some .17 HMR Lux barrels in stock in early April for $190 too.

With hmr/wmr if you have metal mags you can only use metal ones and if you have plastic you can only use plastic ones. For 22lr you can use either
Bought 2 x 10-shot mags (17HMR) from Roger at www.shooterschoice.ca on Tuesday afternoon. Paid $45 (tax included) plus $3 postage. $93 for 2 mags in total, and they got delivered today. Very happy!! And a great guy to deal with.
