Picked up one of these 455 Nightsky editions the other day. This was my first 455 and definitely had some reservations about buying after reading some of the negative posts about the barrel and how its attached and not threaded. Overall Id say this is decent gopher gun. I tested about 10 different ammo types and it certainly favor the premium grade stuff. SK and Eley shot quite well. The target below are 5 shot groups @ 50 yards shot from the box of my pick up :d The rifle comes with a synthetic stock that feels a bit like a a Browning Dura-touch stock. Factory CZ picatinny rail and muzzle break are included.
Only thing I really dislike about this rifle is the muzzle break, not my thing but I have hopes of either trading it off or getting it cut down to 18". Got a 17 HMR barrel and YoDave trigger kit enroute. Gophers BEWARE!!!!!!!:ar15:

Specs:

CZ 455 Night Sky Edition
Warne QD rings
Leupold VX 2 4-12x40 AO
Harris bipod

Oh no! You didn't buy one of those awful rifles, did you? :p. So far, I have made that mistake seven times. "They" say the barrels will fall off pretty much right away, plus they are wildly inaccurate, and, and, well, they are just bad.

On the serious side, I do have seven 455's, and I like them all. In another thread, I noticed that Tenda has a 455 American with a red stock like the Canadians, but without the maple leaf. May have to spring for one of those, too.

Enjoy your rifle. The Nightsky looks like a neat package. I like the scope!

Wow....7 seven, that's a great collection. Your armed and ready for the coming gopher apocalypse!!

Cheers!!

Hey nice shooting. I bought the same model. But sadly haven’t made it out to shoot it yet. I filled to butt of the stock with spray foam so it doesn’t sound so hollow. And I also installed a yo Dave kit. I went with the second lightest spring as the lightest would go off with a light bump. I was not able to use any of the shims because with the smallest shim the sear engagement was so little it wasn’t safe. Hope to get out soon and hope mine shoots as well as yours

You will love it in 17 HMR.....

FWIW if the crown is good and the rifling is good - you are set. I can see no issues with the barrel attachment method.

I love my 455 Thumbhole Varmint barrel in both 22LR and 17HMR. I left the 17HMR barrel on it (for grouse) and got a Tikka T1x in 22LR for plinking.

Got the 17hmr barrel installed and @ 50 yards it had all 5 shots touching, this was with Hornday 17gr. I'm very impressed with this gun. Next task is gonna install the Yodave kit and do some gopher killing. CZ rimfires are the best bang for your buck imho. Cheers!!

I'm a novice; only 2 455s and one Brno 452. LOL

Well, now I have 9. Tenda couldn’t supply an American Red, so I got one from Eagle Firearms in Tisdale. Ordered it Saturday at noon, at my post office Tuesday! Meanwhile, I bought I bought a St. Patrick’s .22.
