The CZ 455 has an 11mm grooved receiver which makes finding rings high enough in 1" somewhat of a problem. Even worse is trying to find a 30mm set without having to run an adapter rail. Is there some source of tall 30mm rings available that I'm overlooking??

Any input on manufacturers would be greatly appreciated!

BKL all the way. I'm running their BKL261MB on my CZ, but have used their BKL300MB when I used a scope with a 30mm tube.

All bought in Canada from these fine folks; http://www.dlairgun.com/BKL-Mounts.html

Great people.

Talley make a higher quality ring than BKL if you want to spend a little more. Excellent rings, they make specific CZ rings. you can order them direct from the Talley Website. both 1" and 30MM

The BKL's are nice but I've found the fit on the tube is not as good as some other rings. They do lend themselves nicely to epoxy bedding the lower rings halves to the tube because of the excess free play.

Most of the guys using 455's at my range use the delrin adapters from J&P Products.

The striker springs and high end action screws are also worthwhile to get from them...they are a very good company to deal with.

The delrin adapters will raise a weaver based sight about a 1/16" higher than normal. Burris Signature Zee's (with offset inserts) on these adapters are the cats whiskers for putting your reticle on center at most any range you want. No issues of scratched or torqued scope tubes with this set up.

You can install a rail that fits the 11mm dovetail, then use any ring that fits a standard rail.

The new 455's have nice machining and finish on the top flat above the grooves. Lots of guys complain about the attachable rails with multiple set screws marring up that finish.
