I tried to search for this, and didn't see it posted around here yet, but I recently suffered through the total loss of my sear spring while installing the DIP adjustable sear. I wasn't able to find anywhere to order a replacement, so I started looking at anything with a spring in it.. and lo! The mighty Bic lighter to the rescue.
In this parts breakdown of the Bic ( https://imgur.com/gallery/zmlCYMj ), the one labeled "Fork Spring" fits pretty much perfectly! I don't know if the tension on the spring is equal to the factory spring, but the gun is a gun again, so I'll take it!
Hope that saves someone a full day of combing the shag carpet. (on a related note, maybe I wont do gun work in the room with shag carpet anymore
