Just curious if anyone has one of these and what their opinions are about the rifle. I'm thinking of getting a stainless-synthetic bolt action 22 repeater and I hear the 455's are really accurate shooters. I'm a fan of stainless-synthetic rifles for their capability to stand up to rough climates so this rifle seems to be a good choice for me. Can anyone who owns one chime in and share their experiences with this rifle please? I'd like to hear any good or bad tales you might have. Thanks guys.

I had a Canadian 455 it was awesome 1.75 at 100yds with cheap ammo and now I have a 452 silhouette style in nickel finish
It will shoot 1.25 at a 100yds

Love the cz just put a yo Dave trigger kit in it to suite your liking and blast away had a lot of luck with CCI standard or mini mag

I was going to buy a basic Savage mk2 but decided to pony up the extra dough for a 455 LUX brand new. I could not be happier!

I just got it on Monday and will be taking it out sunday for the first time. Absolutely stunning rifle IMO.

Ive got the stainless 455 moderator ready, came threaded with a brake from North pro. Absolutely love it and shoots great. its my new ditch chicken slayer topped with a 3x9 elite 3500.

They are good rifles! I've always been a fan, my biggest nitpick is I'm not huge on dovetail on recievers. But there are more and more options for dovetail to Picatinny so eventually I will get one. I've got my eye on the CZ USA 455 Varmint Trainer Camo with the Manners T4, so sweet!

Picked up a 455 stainless synthetic about 2 months ago. I couldn’t be happier. Quality is top notch, and I am glad I held off to find the stainless version. I am glad I resisted the urge to get a stainless Ruger American.

Bought one, love it. Yo dave and dip rail only work needed and it holds just about 2.5 inch at 200 for 50 round group lol, mine is the tan not the camo but same gun

The synthetic stock has a very nice feel to it, and CZ did a pretty good job of making it "stainless", though some small internal parts are not stainless. Accuracy with mine was good but not exceptional. It uses the lighter American barrel which gears it more towards field use than bench work. It's a good tool that's a step up from the lower end rifles, but still affordable enough that you don't need to baby it. As per usual, you need to budget for a DIP or similar dovetail adapter, or be stuck with a very limited selection of 11mm dovetail rings.

I picked up a stainless walnut one. Donno group size but it knocks ground squirrels over well.
I put a 6-24 30mm tube on it to try at silo shoots.
And it came with a piccatinny rail on it from factory.

I have a 455 Canadian, super accurate, but got caught in the rain today, and the red finish is water-soluble, and made one heck of a mess of my hands and cloths.

I have a stainless 455 with a synthetic stock. It's one of the odd ones with a threaded barrel and included muzzle break. It's light, shoots great with a variety of ammo and I'm not afraid to take it anywhere which was the problem with the Lux I used to have. That darned thing was too pretty to take in a thicket.

CZ rifles are terrible I have at least 6 CZ firearms and new ones keep popping up in the safe. Almost as bad as SKS rifles for breeding up new ones ...for the sake of the space in your cabinet dont buy one..... lol

Not stainless, and not a 455 ^ There are plenty of generic threads about CZ's, this one is about the stainless 455 model in particular, though half the people here apparently missed that and talked about models other than the 455 stainless.

This thread could really use some pictures.

Some pics of the stainless 455 I had:

Let me be the first to say
So sorry sir!

Granted, if anyone actually stuck to the subject at hand, it would probably get pretty boring around here. My second 452 varmint was the best shooting affordable stock rimfire rifle I've ever had, so I certainly get why people like to bring them up all the time.
