CZ 455 with short barrel not available in Canada?

So poking around it looks like in the USA you can get the CZ 455 with 16.5" threaded barrels, either sporter or varmint. I don't see either of these available in Canada. Is that because we get them from Europe rather than from the States?

I'd kind of like to have the 455 Varmint, but with a shorter barrel to lighten up the front end a bit. Basically the CZ equivalent of the Savage FV-SR.

Might be possible to import one nevertheless.

I wonder if someone like dlask is considering making their own barrels for the 455 like they do for 10/22, ar15s, ect.

yes I would love one as well been trying to get one through Canadian dealers and it's a no go. only way as of now is to import them. Ask a dealer to import 20 of them, they will sell.
 
Profit River had 455 tacticool 16.5" barrel in feb/16.
I was too busy with my other 455's to buy it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.They should be able to get then again.

I run guns have them also with exchange gst and shipping it would be north of 600.00. Nice toy.
