CZ 457 22 LR 10 round magazines

Q for those regularly using 10rd mags.
Are you using the oem mag release, or have you upgraded to an extended mag release, and what brand?

my 5rd mags are fine , but on my 455 its very tricky to get my fingernail in location to get the release with the steel 10rd. And i see that 1 brand of extended release states to not use it with 10rd mags.

I have the MDT extended mag release and mag insert. It works flawlessly with 10rd polymer mags in both a regular wood stock and my MDT LSS chassis.

I wanted some kind of flared magwell in my chassis build, but didn't want to permanently modify my extended chassis. I came up with a little 3D printed insert that friction fits in the gap behind the magazine insert and it's much easier to guide the magazine in now and doesn't interfere with the extended magazine release.

FWIW those ND shooting 15 rounders are awesome. I have a couple of their T1x version. Very solid and well built....but $$$

I have one and love it -- I'm constantly fighting myself not to order more given how much they cost. That said, I'll probably lose that battle soon.
