Cz 457 at one... when will I see this for sale?

Since it hasn't made its appearance in Canada yet, but the others have, it may be that they won't be available here but only in the US. Conversely, there are some CZ models that are available in Canada that aren't available south of the border.

I vaguely remember a quick read over at RFC that the CZ At One stock and the Boyd version is slightly different. Something about the profile of the grip.

I can't even order the Pro Varmint stock which was designed and cut to a nice length for the 457 16" barrel. I'm afraid ordering the Boyd version and turn out to be a full length fore grip that will have bout 2" of the barrel protruding passed it like the MTR stock.
 
It takes nothing to cut down and contour the forearm, touch up afterward with Tru-Oil which matches the Boyd's satin finish... I have done several dozen of them.

Too, as in, as well. Boyds now makes two versions of the At-One, the original and a new At-One thumbhole.

So, you can make yourself a CZ 457 At-One.

One thing I've always wondered though, is what the actual wood colours are - because those two photos are apparently of the same wood "Coyote Laminate", but they certainly seem different. I guess you could see that much variation depending on the laminate available, heartwood/sapwood, etc.

A closer look shows the colours there to be the same. How they come out depends on the laminate layers. The top stock features the lighter laminate on that side of the stock while the bottom one features a dark layer. The layers reveal differently through the stock contours, the dye/stain doesn't fully penetrate so mid layer is lighter than the outer portion of the laminate. Results in each stock being somewhat individual in its patterning, kinda cool :)

Patiently waited for this rifle to show up in Canada in 22lr, but no dice. Managed to find a 20" MTR 22lr in stock this morning, and part of the CZ sale, so I pulled the trigger. If the factory stock doesn't float my boat, Boyd's will be getting a call
