CZ 457 Canadia?n scope installation

Either way works. The choice is yours.

On a .22LR well-fitting dovetail rings are more than adequate. Amost all European-made .22 rifles will have dovetail grooves. But many like the familiarity of Weaver/Picatinny-style rings and bases. If you are shooting at distances over 100 yards, you will need to use a canted rail to provide more elevation.

I've used the Warne 721 rings and liked them. Some don't like the way they go on the scope, but that's a personal preference thing.

I have a 455 Lux and OEM 0* rail with Vortex-Pro Low rings. It still gives me plenty of bolt handle clearance, but if just on dovetails you might need the Med height.

Also as far as I'm concerned, don't get too caught up with scope height . The main thing to worry about with scope height is that clears and it's at a comfortable height.

I have a CZ 452-2E ZKM American .22lr.

I use the dovetail rings with the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40mm scope.
