CZ 457 low scope mount options?

Thanks everyone for the various rail / base suggestions, that's going to put the scope much higher than it needs to be. I'm looking for the lowest ring options for direct mount onto the receiver.

... determine ahead of time the height distance that you need for clearance at both ends ...

You're right that manufacturers are all over the place in what they call "low" vs. "medium". I'm looking for the lowest options available. So far I've only come across two that actually look low: Talley (CZ rimfire low) and the ones that ricochet linked to above, on the airgun site.

What you will need for "lowest" possible will have a lot to do with the scope that you chose - front end outside diameter - is some disagreement, but need perhaps more than sheet of paper clearance front end to barrel - is likely about thickness of a dime might be okay. Then scopes have varying diameters of eye bells - and some have big knobby things to give better grip to adjust power - can become a point of contact for the bolt handle. "Lowest possible" is likely like with a straight tube K3 Weaver or similar - many modern scopes have larger diameter eye bells - at the point of contact from bolt handle - and often shooters want more magnification than 3 power ...

You're right Potashminer, a guy certainly can get rings that are too low for a given rifle/scope combination. But so far I haven't seen any that will be too low for the 33mm objective scope I'm using when mounted on the 457.

Still looking for more options if anyone has em!
