No, 10 different rifles that do the same thing. I mean, if your ability to survive and put food on the table depended on hunting then yes, I'd want a gun for each purpose: deer, small game, predator defense, etc. and backups too. Hell, for ammo, parts, and tool availability, maybe it makes sense to have two identical rifles as opposed to two different rifles
My Annie is for small game, pests, and any other time I want to make precise shots. I had a Marlin 795 that I wish I had never sold for plinking. They were both 22's, but they filled very different niches.
I could even see buying a couple of the same gun for different purposes: 457s set up for walkabout hunting, rimfire silhouette, and varminting perhaps. But several identical rifles where the only difference is sporter stock or full stock? Not my bag. Others spend their money how they see fit. I choose another path and if we are both happy, neither of us is wrong.
