CZ 457 Stock/Chassis choice?

Anyone running the ACC Premium chassis? Currently have one 457 in a LSS chassis and thinking of putting my other 457 in a chassis as well. Just wondering if the added cost is worth while.

Also, does anyone have any idea of what the LRP stock may be worth on the used market?

Thanks fellas.

Although your question relates to choice of chassis, have you considered the original CZ MTR stock. It is of a bench rest configuration and they are pretty commonly available from $175 to $250. If your interests are exclusively bench rest the benefits that a chassis provide ( adjustments, weights, arca etc ) are of limited value. Just a thought. Good luck on your search. dgb

stocks and chassis are about fitting YOUR body. whatever it is, whatever it costs, if it fits YOU and you can shoot well with it, it is a good choice.

For me, I prefer the XRS but I grew up in an A5 world and that style of ergonomics works best for ME... many other shooters love the fit and feel of the ACC style chassis.

If you can, test drive various stocks and see what floats your boat.

FYI, there isn't going to be much difference between the LSS and ACC wrt to you touching that chassis... if you use the same grip. If you like the LSS, you will like the ACC... if you want a different fit, then I would lean you to the XRS.

What improvements are you looking for vs the LSS... that will be more helpful to see if the added cost will gain you anything.

Not sure how that one fellow ended up having to use high rings on the ORYX because medium rings and an Area 419 30moa Mount have most of us using the cheek riser.
XRS and Oryx have one massive difference that could make or break either for you.
The Oryx has a thumb shelf and allows for any AR style Pistol grip of your choice which for bench rest could be a huge factor. XRS has only two grip options and semi flat area above it for thumb placement.

I opted for the XRS for PRS but in a benchrest situation would’ve gone ORYX. Definitely not Bravo due to being lighter weight and less forend to push my bipod forward. All 3 are great options tho.

you make great points! as this rifle will be bench only. decisions, decisions. i just put a MTR barrel and action in a synthetic stock. if it’s not bad tomorrow i’m going to the range and see how it goes. might not need a stock/chassis… but i WANT one haha
