CZ 457: Timney Trigger vs. Yodave Spring Kit

I too is on the same boat for my 457 setup and its shooting application. The factory 457 trigger is great and adding the YoDave spring made it just a little better in the trigger weight category. However, I did add the YoDave firing pin spring and that changed everything. The trigger weight increased. I quickly reverted back to the factory firing pin spring and the trigger weight went back to averaging 11.5 oz.

My Tikka's also have the YoDave trigger spring and I have those down to averaging 1 lb from the factory 2 lb.

The only rifle I have that I felt needed a trigger replacement/ upgrade was for my Remington 700 SPS. And that is with the basic model TriggerTech.

Installing the timney tomorrow, will report back with results. My stock trigger was adjusted down to 1.5lbs. But it's not the weight that bothers me, it's the travel and break. Hope timney makes a difference

My CZ 457 At-One had a horrible 4.2 lb trigger pull weight.
I disassembled the rifle and found an AR-15 sear spring that was the same size.
I installed it and it dropped the trigger pull weight down to 2.0 Lbs.

I have a Yodave trigger and sear spring on order and I’ll post my results in a week or 2 once it arrives.

Put in the trigger, was easy to install despite the c-clip going flying away. Feels great, very crisp, no travel. Will test it out and see if it improves my scores lol
