I too is on the same boat for my 457 setup and its shooting application. The factory 457 trigger is great and adding the YoDave spring made it just a little better in the trigger weight category. However, I did add the YoDave firing pin spring and that changed everything. The trigger weight increased. I quickly reverted back to the factory firing pin spring and the trigger weight went back to averaging 11.5 oz.
My Tikka's also have the YoDave trigger spring and I have those down to averaging 1 lb from the factory 2 lb.
The only rifle I have that I felt needed a trigger replacement/ upgrade was for my Remington 700 SPS. And that is with the basic model TriggerTech.
