CZ 512 semi auto....anyone own one or tried one ?

Post your opinion of it when you get a chance to try it out .
Reviews about it seem outstanding and I'm thinking on trying one myself .
If you like a econimized version of a CZ then this semi is for you! If you are expecting the same old quailty of BRNO/CZ. your not going to get it with this model, made for the American market to fill a void, thats all. It should still be a grreat shooter, but lacks eye apeal for sure!.Dale Z
CZ 512 Range Report
Well I got my 512 on Friday and was able to get out to the range with it today. Hopefully I have posted these pictures correctly!!!!!!!!!! Computer challenged to say the least.
Anyway was all excited on Friday took it out of the box to look at, could not #### it. Life got in the way and could not look at it again till late Saturday night. Still unable to #### it and could hear something rattling in the receiver. Took it apart and out falls a part. Firing pin lug. It is missing a firing pin spring and the firing pin falls out. Disappointing.
Rummage through my bag of goodies and find a spring that looks like it fits. Contact dealer and he says no problem, they will get me parts.
Sunday morning I mount the scope. Meuller APV 4.5-14 that I have, with Millet Angle Lock rings from another CZ. Off to the range. As you can see with the 25 and 50 yard targets, this thing shoots!!!!!!!!
The trigger is absolutely terrible on it. I can only imagine the groups with a decent trigger. Hopefully someone on Rimfirecentral will come up with a solution soon.
Overall I am pleased with the rifle dispite the set backs, but it needs a decent trigger. Hopefully I can get it down. Very heavy, gritty and has creep. Pretty much what was said on rimfire. Pretty impressed with the accuracey.
