Does anyone know of a reputable retailer in Canada from whom I could order a CZ-52 pistol?

I've checked at a few online Canadian suppliers, and on the forums here, but I haven't found anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, this is my first post, so if I have made any egregious errors, I apologize in advance.

I got the same problem. However I found a armorer's kit + tt-33 russian tokarevs on the T.E.C. tradex site icon on the top of the screen. Cheers. With luck, they'll import cz-52s for the both of us & some of those of 2280rds tins!

I hadn't gone through all of the links up top, and now TEC Tradex is in my favourites for firearms. Really appreciate the help, thanks.

I sent an email to Tradex asking about the CZ52, and have checked with the links he gave me, but no luck. I do want one to put into my collection of T33s, as I like the power of the 7.62X25, and the flash is soo cool.

Your basically trolling for used ones right now, i don't think any are showing up as imports. I have one, can't say i find it paticularly pleasent to shoot. The Tok is much stronger and less annoying. On the 52 the trigger slaps hard when it resets and after 50 rounds or so you have a sore trigger finger.

they do look sorta neat though. And i like the op system, different.

I have been looking for one for sometimes now. No luck. I don't think any dealer in Canada carries them. If somebody brings them in, I will take one.

Are you allowed to use words like "egregious" in Gun Nutz?

Back on topic, I don't have any ideas on finding a CZ-52 but do recall reading that, because of the roller cutouts in the sides, they are much weaker than Tokarevs. In fact, they are more likely to blow up in your hand than an antique Mauser C96 firing the same ammunition.

(I used to have two broomhandles. Never had the courage to fire either one. Sigh.)

I have done a fair amount of reading on these guns and that is news to me.

Everything I've heard is that Tokarev and CZ52's are both incredibly durable pistols. And vocal proponents on each side claiming superiority over the other.

My dad has been keen on getting one as well, we were looking at one on the EE just a week or two ago and it was in good shape and everything, but a little pricey. Might still be there. Not too many people seem to want to let them go, it seems.

Be very aware that C 96 mauser pistols do not use the same ammo that toks and the cz 52 do, even though they will chamber it. Shooting 7.62x25 in a pistol chambered for .30 mauser will cause damage and possibly dissasembly much more rapidly then you might wish. The CZ is stronger then the broomhandle, but no where near as strong as the tokerov.

You can blow up a 52 if you find enough hot loaded surplus ammo. Some of the chech stuff (i believe, it was a while ago:redface:) was loaded hot for sub guns and would shatter the recesses that the rollers cammed into. There really is not a lot of metal there. They are sufficent, but not overly strong. They didn't last that long in service i believe, but i'm out on a limb here, does anyone know for sure when they where replaced?
