I picked up a CZ 527 up on EE here with 1 original and 2 extra look original magazines (one mag came with a white checkmark on it, others no checkmark). I must say I want to love this rifle, it shoulders amazingly well. However I ran into some problems this afternoon when i went to test the action. (I was using A-Zoom 7.62x39 snap caps, sprayed the bolt with G96 prior to testing the action)
Issues I found so far, not sure if its a fitting issue i can easily fix or if this is more of a warranty problem
1) with 2 spare magazines the springs are actually different? is there a variance in spring design with these magazines?
Wierd, the original came with a large spring while one of the extras came with an odd smaller spring looking more like what goes in my tokarev mag.
2) with all mags cycling the action with a round in the magazine unless done for briskly and with force there is a 50% chance the round with bounce ahead of the extractor allow itself to be chambered and then get stuck in there until shaken out.
I have no solution for this? idea's? is this something I should return it for or should i just put more effort cycling the bolt so it doesn't happen.
3) the 2 extra magazines provide some resistance in cycling the bolt (perhaps some contact) at times rounds simply get stuck when trying to cycle the action (worse with a full mag of 5).
I am thinking this issue may be resolved by me filing the lips on the extra 2 magazine back somewhat to avoid contact with the bolt as it moves in the action.
Anyone else with similar issues? Solutions? will ad pics later so things may be clearer. Your tips to get this little gem working right would be helpful, I would really like to take this out for deer in the fall.
