cz 527 american

Well I have a 527 Varmint Kevlar in .223 and other than the detachable mag really love it. Super accurate and well made. The trigger is adjustable and can be set to break cleanly without the set trigger but I do use the set trigger at times.

I have the trigger on my 527 Varmint adjusted to have a very nice pull without being set. Setting the trigger will give you a lighter break, but the downside is the amount of overtravel.

I didn't find the action very smooth but rest of rifle was nice. I loved the set trigger mine was in .204 but was a 527 varmint traded it away and don't regret it at all. I got a Sako in trade for it and like it much more..

I have a American in .223, love it. Set trigger is awsome, one of the the finest factory triggers you will come by when there properly adjusted. Well made and very nice rifles IMO. The only thing I dont like is that from a full clip the first round feeds a little rough and the 5 round mag can dig in when your carrying it on your shoulder.

When and where did you all get your Americans in 223 ? What scope at what distance typically..

I got a varmint of the EE. I know of a few places that had americans. I went for the varmint for the tighter twist. Today, I shot a ground squerrel at 356 yards according to the range finder. I have a zeiss 6.5-20 mildot on mine. Last time I was in proline shooters, they had one, and canadian tire on southland drive in calgary had a few. As i recall, if you order from here, you don't have to pay PST... ;)

I bought recently a CZ 452 varmint and Love it!! so I just ordered a 527 Varmint in .223 from Armurier-Gunsmith in Napierville Qc.
Waiting very impatiently for it...

I'd go for the standard, not the American, the all metal detachable single stack, five round mags are something we pay up to $1,000 to install on our precision rifles. Great value. :) The American just limits the mag capacity to look more conventional.

What is this "standard"? The american has a detachable 5 shot single stack and is all metal.
