Hi I recently picked up a 2020 dated 762x39 CZ carbine and noted a few differences from a previous model.
The magazine is now separate from the trigger group and the engraving on the receiver opposite the ejection port reads 527 only.
Previous models had engravings with "527 CARBINE" or "527 M CARBINE" and the gusseted trigger assembly bottom metal.
The CZ website shows a new "M1", ( to replace their "American " model perhaps? ) model with the redesigned bottom metal like my new carbine.........
I'm wondering if they're just cutting down a 527 and chucking it into a carbine stock or is there really any difference?
I'm going to borrow a friend's mic and check the muzzle O.D. on mine, anyone able to pull a reading off theirs for comparison?
Too many variants.......too little time....thx guys.
