Cz 527 carbine optic

Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 on a .223 and a Leopold compact 2-7x33 on a 7.62x39. Two moderate price scopes that suit the rifles and the hunting uses they see.

I so wish the action was just a bit longer so it would house a .250 Savage with a 100 grain load, and give it a Mannlicher stock too!!

As cheesey the picture may look on the shipping boxes of oringinals rifles, they give you a good idea on sighting proportion for the specific firearm you own.

Why did you remove the rear sight? Or its not a carbine?

That rifle was my American in 6.5 Grendel. I mounted a Nikko Stirling 4x32 on my 7.62 Carbine as it better suited the wee bugger for sniping critters in the woods.
I love the clarity, repeatability & light weight of this scope. ;)

I have just purchased a 527 in x39, where would one source a second mag either 5 or 10 round?

Hate to say it but pretty well every site sponsor has sold out out of the 5 round mags. You may have to put in your name with some site sponsors for when backorders come in. It may pay to regularly check all site sponsors not just the big names at the top. Good luck

Try CSC for CZ 5 round mags - just saw some on display a couple of days ago. I've never seen 10 rounders - do they make them?

Sightron S-tac 2-10x32, 30mm tube, considering this scope now as well
Might as well say $100 more then a leupold vx1/freedom 3-9x40 with 1" tube, not sure if it's worth more then a leupold though.
