Cz 527 carbine with iron sights 7.62x39 on sale now -BACK IN STOCK

My buddy bought the CZ Ranger Rifle and is in love with it... he loves the 10rd magazine capacity (.308).

I'm wondering what type of iron sights this thing has on it? I'm interested as I have a VZ58 which takes the same ammo, but by doing a search I see that magazines for this model seem to be really expensive.

Sorry, gonna brag about this one. Shameless plug. One of my most proudest days on this earth involved a 527. My 13 year old shot her first deer with hers. We strongly recommend this product ;) wish I could afford one for myself!

What did you use for optics and mounts on your daughters 527?

Mags are expensive and hard to find in Canada. I just ordered two from Brownells.

I thought brownells had them but a quick search only showed the fixed rings for the 557, Maybe it would be possible to get one as a special order. [brownells.com/optics-mounting/rings-mounts-amp-bases/scope-rings/maxima-grooved-receiver-cz-rings-prod66413.aspx]

Were can i buy the Warne QD rings for my CZ 527... Thanks. JP.

Wow, awesome price. Just placed an order.

I'm surprised you had that many in stock, I usually only ever see the odd one or two at most retailers.

Looks like you're doing some damn fine parenting with your daughter. Congratulations to the both of you!!

Can anyone comment on the quality of the wood stock? Do they have nice figure like the photo?

Some do, some are plain. Mine has some nice grain to it. Luck of the draw with online unless purcbases they're willing to cherry pick one for you. I bought mine used, pics were posted, I consider myself lucky.

Now how about those extra mags?

The sights are terrible for a rifle at this price point, plan on buying rings/scope right off the bat unless you get lucky...
There is no way to set elevation other than unubtanium front posts in different heights. If anybody brings in the peep combo aftermarket I'd be in.
The mags are also mediocre for young fingers to load as the last round tends to "dive" in the mag and jam unless you are carefull.
That said my 13 yr old loves "his", I really like it too, set the trigger down to a safe level and I don't use the set trigger much anymore, nice let off but tons of overtravel. Sons taken a couple of nice deer up to 225 yards with the hornady ammo.

I think brownells has a Williams fully adjustable peep sight and an necg one. I had the Williams on my 455 and it was a dandy.
