Looking for feed back on the 527 in 7.62x39 calibre. Seems as if it would be a good choice for small West Coast blacktails at bush ranges. Any comments...

I molested one of these a while back. Never shot it but I really liked it. Solid and the single set trigger was really nice. Iron sights are a nice option in a bush gun too. As for the 7.62, well we don't get a lot of west coast blacktails in Ont. so... ;)

I have one and really like it. I have it topped with a 2.5X compact Leupold and it is a light, handy, accurate, low recoiling rifle. So far I have shot two Alberta whitetails with it with no problems. It also has a very nice trigger.
