A lot of 527s were sold during the pandemic and around the time sock boy threatened to start banning all sorts of semis then limiting magazines to 5 rounds. The bolt action 527 and others in 7.62 were suddenly looking good if you were sitting on a ton of surplus ammo. There were also things like factory closures in Europe, delays in shipping and increased shipping costs. Even the 5 and 10 round magazines for the CZ 452/5/7 disappeared or became very expensive.

I'm happy with just my one spare mag. I only ordered one, but should have bought all three that were for sale. Hindsight is 20/20. Yes, the supply chain is severely disrupted.

Glad I saw this thread and bought a couple before they disappeared. Crazy how much prices have gone up, I paid 50.00 a mag retail not 2 years ago and thought that was bad. Just the way things are these days I guess

I suppose people should jump on this since the gun is being discontinued and even during it's production phase mags were so hard to find. Probably won't be much more trickling in.
