Is this rifle a controlled round feed type of action? Is there anybody that owns one that has any experience with it?

Thanks,

I have one in the 550 medium.
Two crossbolts, CRF (real crf) single set trigger , square bridge reciever with c-ring , forged reciever and hammer forged barrel. First three rounds through it for group went into .480" and has been a sub moa rifle with everything I've fed it. Its definetly in the keeper pile.

It's a good natural upgrade for 35 Whelen fans like me. I've been looking sideways at 9.3x62 for a few years but probably won't convert myself. Ellwood Epps have for sale a couple Tikka Battue lites and a HK semi sold recently in that calibre.

No doubt all the good things going for the 35Whelen are working for this cartridge too - "+". Except it won't shoot .357 pistol pills. Also my personal store of reloading fodder would be only slightly unusable in it - being 008" too tiny.

That Real Guns article BwanaDave referenced is worth reading - I enjoyed it immensely.

I have two CZ 550, One in 416 the other in 300 Min Mag. I plan on getting one in 9.3x62. The importer is suppose to have the 9.3x62mm CZ550 Medium coming in if not already in?

I like the CZ rifles. They're a good classic Mauser and a fine choice today. I just picked up a 9.3x62 in a Husky from TradeEx and am looking forward to seeing how it does as an iron-sighted moose rifle.

Alas, nothing is ever perfect.
mine has a plastic follower and floorplate on the x62 but my -06 is all steel. Steel parts are available if it bothers you.
