I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this rifle. It's chambered in .308, Turkish walnut, 1:10 Rifling, adjustable trigger, just a really nice looking bench or prone position rifle, I can't find any in Canada yet but I'm pretty sure I can order it from a retailer. Looking for accuracy results and wanting to know if it holds up to tikka and savage accuracy or ruger precision. thx

I saw an add for one in the new caliber mag. I found it funny that they said what the twist was but not the caliber.

It looks pretty nice but its too bad they didnt add an adjustable cheek rest.

Hi all,

I realize I'm reviving a thread, and not sure if I should start a new one (I'm a newbie, that's my excuse), but just wondering if anyone has had experience with the CZ 557 Varmint out past 500metres - or any distance for that matter?
I love the wood stock, and while it felt heavy, I can't say it felt heavier than anything equivalent except maybe the 20-inch barrelled Tikka T3x CTR.
I have the CZ 557 Range, but figured the longer barrel on the Varmint could take me out to 1000 yards and hopefully 1000 metres.

Anyone?
