CZ 600 Alpha user opinions?

Hello CGN.

Now that the CZ 600 Alpha’s are hitting the shelves in decent quantities I am interested to know what people think about them.

Does anyone have any first hand experience / range time / hunting / with one?

They seem to tick a lot of boxes for a reasonably priced all weather rifle: 60 degree bolt throw, double stack mag, interesting safety, integral pic rails on top of action, actions scaled to caliber.

On the down side the stock does not offer flush cup sling mounts and I do not imagine aftermarket parts will common.

My 600 in .223 just arrived, unfortunately I’m away from home and won’t be able shoot it for a week or so. I decided to buy one for the exact reasons you mentioned, it seems like really good value for dollar. From reviews I’ve seen the stock may be the weak point, if it is I’m thinking some aftermarket stocks shouldn’t be to far behind. I’ll try to post again once I have a chance to put some rounds down range.

I hope you’re right, after market cz parts are very limited unless you’re shopping for a 455/457
